Baby Blankets

I need to get going on more things for my grandbaby! Whoever heard of having crocheter who is having a grandbaby and doesn't make them a bunch of stuff? We don't know what the baby is yet and I still think there are girl and boy colors and unisex colors. So yellow, green and white right now until we find out what they are having.

This is the first one that is finished!

This one was so simple. Just a continuous granny square with a pretty edge and ribbon. But that edge! Takes you almost as long as the granny square.

I am in the process of the second blanket. It is a pattern I haven't done since I made one for my first son (the father of this new grandbaby). It isn't written down anywhere. I actually watched another woman crocheting in the waiting room before a doctor's appointment and learned how to do it. AND I have this wonderful yarn to do it with!

This is Knit Picks yarn called Baby. I absolutely love it! Unfortunately, it is being discontinued which is why I can afford it in the first place because it is only $1.29. I ordered 9 skeins the first time and then when saw how much I loved it ordered 10 more. So it will do a few baby things to say the least.
No pictures of the new blanket yet but it will be finished soon and I will have it on here.
Happy hooking!
